Welcome to Goldig Cafe & Take Away, a delightful gem nestled in the charming pedestrian street of R. Infante de Sagres 64, Lagos, Portugal. This cafe is not just a spot to grab a quick bite; it's a haven for food lovers who appreciate flavors crafted from the heart.

Goldig Cafe focuses on a modern approach to healthy eating, proudly offering a variety of vegan and gluten-free options that tantalize both the palate and the conscience. The ambiance is inviting and warm, with cheerful, smiley staff ready to serve you with a genuine touch of hospitality. The setting is quaint, featuring three outside tables shaded by awnings and a couple of cozy indoor spots where you can enjoy your meal while soaking in the cafe's homely atmosphere.

If you're a fan of vegan cuisine, you simply cannot miss the vegan salmon bagel paired with creamy vegan cheese, which has won the hearts of many, including customer 94fraizer, who called it “extremely delicious.” Pair that with the homemade lemonade—an unforgettable refreshment that’s as zesty as it is revitalizing, and you have yourself a winning combination. Another standout is the vegan and gluten-free quiche, which evoked nostalgia for Carly Miller, who delighted in this dish after years without it. The beautifully presented pancakes are also a must-try, praised by Jessica Sousa-Griffiths for their delightful taste.

There’s a lovely selection of healthy cakes that P Ruffles noted, making it the perfect spot for an afternoon treat. No matter what you choose, the commitment to quality and presentation shines through in every dish. And if coffee is your passion, be sure to indulge in their cold brew, deemed “incredibly tasty” by Domenic Thoms, whose enthusiasm for the cafe's offerings echoes the sentiment of many satisfied customers.

Goldig Café is an absolute gem! Everything we tried was incredibly tasty and beautifully presented – you can really tell it’s made with love and care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the attention to detail makes the whole experience special. A highlight for me was the cold brew coffee – it was incredibly tasty. Can’t wait to come back!

Great vegan breakfast! The vegan salmon bagel with cream cheese was extremely delicious and my personal favorite. We also had a pancake, coffee, and smoothies. Everything was so tasty!

Happy smiley staff. Great range of healthy cakes. Wide range of tasty looking healthy food options. Three tables outside under awnings - pedestrian street. Also, two tables inside (staff have to pass by the one by the servery with food).

Lovely spot for lunch, great vegan options including cakes. I had the lasagna and it was lovely, others had pancakes which where also good. I had a tarte for afters and it was really good too. Friendly service. Would visit again if in the area.

The vegan and gluten free quiche was delicious! I haven’t had quiche in years so it was really cool to eat it again. Also got the tosta queijo, which was 10/10. The lemonade was homemade and so good!

What a nice little find in the heart of the old town. The staff were lovely, and just the nice people you'd expect to find in a mindful place like this. Everything is vegan with some gluten free options, including quiche, falafel salad, all toasts can be made with gluten free bread (toasted separately), and a selection of cakes, including cheesecake and brownies. This was my second visit this week so I can totally recommend the Buddha bowl with felafels and the mini cheesecake. I also tried the toast lox and the gf bread was really nice. I would have preferred thinner slices and more che*se, as the pickled salm*n overpowered the delicate flavour of the che*se. I also had a decaf latte with soy. My only gripe is the pastries are not separated, so cross contamination in theory could occur (warning for coeliacs). Lastly, they could do with more sitting space. Sitting outside I could see many people tempted to go in but leaving, I assume due to the lack of free tables. I would totally be a regular if I lived here! All the best to you guys -fly that mindfulness flag high

Had stopped by in here for some brunch without realising all the food on the menu was vegan which was a pleasant surprise! I ordered their take on a “salmon” bagel and tried out the pancakes. The pancakes were on the slightly drier side but overall good food and lovely service from the staff.

Our favourite cafe on our trip! Great food, especially the "fish"! In the cutest, most cosy location too.
